Englobe was awarded for its community engagement at the Envirolys Gala! The Envirolys Gala is an annual event that brings together key actors in the environmental services industry.
Such award is a recognition of the numerous initiatives aiming to establish a space for consultation and dialog with the host communities of Englobe’s Organics and Soil Treatment Centers.
Thanks to constant and proactive efforts of community engagement all year long, Englobe’s team is proud to be sharing its knowledge in environment with local residents. Englobe’s approach of openness and transparency to promote responsible organic waste management is supported by a constant presence on the ground during community events as well as continuous efforts to ensure successful integrations of the sites’ operations within the surrounding communities.
“For Englobe, building lasting relationships with communities near our sites is essential, and this is what allows us to launch impactful projects. Initiatives such as open-house events, consulting committees involving citizen or raising public awareness of proper organic waste selection are part of our activities. These actions demonstrate our commitment, and we are firmly convinced that it is by taking a proactive approach that we can have a sustainable and positive impact” adds Alain Robichaud, Senior Vice-President or Englobe’s Organics and Soil Treatment Centers.
