Celebrating Engineering Excellence in New Brunswick

The Englobe New Brunswick team won an ACEC-NB Engineering Excellence award for their role as prime consultant for the new Homarus Centre in Shediac, New Brunswick. The new facility is dedicated to protecting lobsters and critical marine habitat and is poised to play a crucial role in the long-term sustainability of the Homarus lobster species. Presented by the New Brunswick branch of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (ACEC) Canada, the Engineering Excellence Awards Gala celebrates and promotes the provision of exemplary consulting engineering services locally, nationally, and internationally. The event serves to highlight the valuable contributions of New Brunswick’s Consulting Engineers in their work at home and abroad. 

 

Future Leader Award Recipient: Kyle McConnel 

Englobe’s Kyle McConnel, Civil Engineering Team Lead in Fredericton, was this year’s ACEC-NB Future Leader Award honouree! The Future Leader Award recognizes young professional consulting engineers for demonstrating excellence in his field, the business of consulting engineering, and for his community leadership.  

Kyle has been a contributing part of the Englobe team since 2017, and when not at work, dedicates a lot of his personal time to volunteering and supporting community initiatives. 

Englobe is recognized as Canada’s leader in the fields of environmental management, engineering, and asset integrity and quality management.
