New Years Resolution #1 – be more awesome than last year!
At Englobe, we’ve always believed that our people are our greatest asset, and this year has highlighted the authenticity of that statement. There is no doubt that 2020 was marked by unprecedented challenges, but it was also a year filled with many successes.
More than anything, this year was a reminder that our corporate culture is strong because of our never-ending commitment to make a real difference – for our team members, clients, communities, and planet.
Before we look forward to what the new year will bring, we want to reflect on this unusual year to celebrate our top achievements.
#1 Worked on Exceptional Projects. The best way to motivate and inspire talented engineers, scientists, and technical professionals is to deliver interesting and challenging projects for them to work on. In 2020, we did just that with once-in-a-lifetime technically dynamic projects that presented extraordinary growth opportunities.
*Note: The Nanticoke explosive toppling project was managed by DST a Division of Englobe.
#2 Invested in our people. Englobe made a commitment to job security and career development:
#3 Launched a Sustainability Approach. In 2020, when the world’s attention settled on issues of health and wellness in their broadest sense, it was time for us to elevate our own commitment to our planet. In response, we set out a comprehensive Sustainability Approach. As a first step in this work in progress, we will identify better practices in every area of our business:
#4 Stepped up Support for Community. We care about each other, our clients, and the work we do. It is our mission to use our expertise to make communities better and this year, we reinforced that promise.
Ahead: Bigger, more Complex, Award Worthy Projects
Looking forward to 2021, we will continue to ensure our talented people remain safe, healthy, and challenged with new opportunities. Our goal for the new year is to continue building a work environment that fosters continuous learning and improvement for our team members.
With 500+ new talent hired in 2020, there has never been a better time to consider a career with Englobe.
