Englobe joins Women in Governance to accelerate its gender parity efforts

Englobe marks a significant step toward accelerating its gender parity and diversity goals by announcing its membership in Women in Governance (WIG). WIG is a leading Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women in the workplace and promoting gender parity across various industries. This new membership was announced at WIG’s annual Gala, held on September 19 in Montreal.

By joining WIG, Englobe aligns itself with top Canadian brands including Royal Bank, CBC, Bell and Air Canada.

As its first initiative under this membership, Englobe will undertake WIG’s Parity Certification process. Supported by existing programs and policies, this process will accelerate development of a comprehensive roadmap to enhance gender diversity and equality at all levels of the organization.

A membership to foster greater diversity

Diversity is at the heart of Englobe’s core values. This new WIG membership underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to fostering a more diverse, inclusive, and gender-equal work environment, and aligns with Englobe’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives

Currently, this commitment is reflected through initiatives such as mentorship, recognition awards, training and development programs, membership in the UN Global Compact, and more. By completing WIG’s Parity Certification, Englobe gains access to a range of expert forums, career advancement events for women at all levels, and other tools and resources to accelerate its timeline to achieve true parity.

We are proud and excited to join a community that is actively working to close the gender gap and empower women, at all levels, to achieve their career aspirations. This new relationship will help us accelerate our efforts to create more opportunities for women at Englobe. This process will not only have a meaningful impact within our organization but will also make waves across our industry.
