Geneviève David Watson joins Englobe as its first ESG Director

Englobe is pleased to announce the appointment of Geneviève David Watson as the company’s new Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) Director, effective March 25, 2024.  

   

“Geneviève’s extensive experience, passion for sustainable development and creative mindset are an ideal fit at Englobe,” said Karine Desforges, Senior Vice- President, Legal Affairs, Corporate Secretary, Privacy Officer and Ethics Officer. “With her seasoned leadership and assured guidance, I have no doubt we’ll successfully achieve our ambitious ESG targets and objectives.”   

 

Geneviève joins Englobe from Groupe Montoni, where she designed and drafted the company’s ESG Plan and all related outreach programs and communications, built a multidisciplinary team, and provided senior management with expert advice on the strategies and programs to be developed and implemented. Earlier in her career, she held consulting roles in ESG strategy, environment, climate change and sustainability at Union des municipalités du Québec and Réseau environnement. 

 

She holds a Master’s in Environment and Sustainable Development from Université de Montréal, with a focus on project and change management, sustainable development and ecosystem dynamics, and social challenges and governance.
